Valentines Day juuuust so happens to be my favorite holiday. Like way above Christmas or other fun holidays. I have always been a sucker for Valentines Day and all the red and pink and glitter. It's also the day that my husband proposed to me, which may seem cliche for some of you but he knew that I literally wait all year for Valentines Day to come around again and I just LOVE it, so it was perfect.
Anyway, todays look is PINK and inspired by this very pink day. Pink make-up can make some people's minds revert straight back to the 80's but when done right, it's really feminine and pretty!
For this look I used the Jaclyn Hill Favorites palette by Morphe.
If you don't have this palette, I was looking for some dupes and found that you can achieve almost the same look by using some of the like-shades in the Maybelline Blushed Nudes palette! Or just look at which shades I'm using here in the JH palette and match them to some shades that you might already have at home!
Step 1: Sweep color 1:5JH (row 1, 5th shade in, Jaclyn Hill palette) in crease from inner corner to outer corner, then blend up toward the brow bone. BLEND BLEND BLEND!
Step 2: Pack shade 3:2 all over the lid. Be careful not to get too much in the crease
Step 3: Blend shade 4:6 in the outer corner/crease
Step 4: Blend shade 3:6 in the outer corner and in crease
Step 5: Take a little bit of 1:3 and using your finger put a bit on just the center of your lid.
Step 5: Take a teeny bit of shade 4:2 and blend the colors in your crease really good
Step 6: Highlight your inner corner and brow bone with shade 1:1
I finished this look off with Revlon ColorStay Ultimate Suede lipstick in shade 035 'Backstage'.
Happy Valentines Day, everyone! Single or taken, I hope you feel loved this Sunday! :)
